At the beautiful, long and white sandy beach of the Tunisian east coast, you find the holiday resort Port El Kantaoui. It is built in traditional Moorish style and has got a pretty marina and nice gardens (click here for impressions of Port El Kantaoui).

The  well-kept, traffic-free tourist destination is about 25 km away from the airport Monastir and easy to reach with the very cheap taxis. Port El Kantaoui is situated 6 km north of Sousse, the lively and historic second-biggest town of Tunisia, and about 140 km south of Tunis, the capital.
As our apartment is located in a convenient, but however quiet place at the center of the village (see map), you have to walk only a few steps to the sea, to the supermarket and to different cafés, restaurants and shops. The flat belongs to the set of houses "Les maisons de la mer". It is on the second floor and has a beautiful view over the port and the vast garden with a pavillon at the side of the terrace.

You will appreciate the fact that you can walk to the beach in your bikini on a little foot path only within 2 minutes. At the beach, there are enough free sunshades, and you can rent sunbeds for a very little amount. The beach club, which belongs to the holiday resort, is directly accessible from the beach and offers showers, a swimming pool, toilets and a restaurant.
